ARTCLUB appoints Lina Tscheu and Leonid Bechtel as Interim Heads of Strategy and Curation

ARTCLUB, the Berlin-based platform for curated contemporary art, is expanding its leadership team with the addition of two new interim members: Lina Tscheu joins as Head of Strategy & Partnerships (int.), while Leonid Bechtel takes on the role of Head of Artist Development & Curation (int.). Both appointments are initially set for a interim period, with a long-term collaboration being the intended goal.

Lina will focus on expanding ARTCLUB’s presence through strategic research, event scouting, and partner outreach. Leonid brings extensive experience in photography and emerging artists. He will lead the expansion of ARTCLUB’s curated portfolio by identifying and onboarding new artists, overseeing the artistic quality of the platform, and strengthening relationships with creators. His role is key to refining the curatorial direction and developing sustainable artist collaborations.

“With Lina and Leonid, we’re gaining more than additional capacity – we’re welcoming two people who share the vision of a future-oriented, artist-driven art platform,” says ARTCLUB founder Sebastian Krauß. “Their interim mandates allow us to explore and deepen our collaboration while setting ambitious goals from day one.”

ARTCLUB will launch a new exhibition series in fall 2025, alongside a curated print program highlighting up-and-coming voices in photography and mixed media.
