Biography
André Bräuer is a contemporary abstract artist based in Hamburg, Germany. His work combines abstract expressionism with a distinctive sense of materiality, intense colour compositions, and emotional movement. Drawing inspiration from nature, urban environments, and human emotion, Bräuer creates multilayered paintings that move fluidly between abstraction and subtle figuration. Through the use of palette knives, expressive gestures, and dynamic structures, his works explore depth, energy, and atmosphere. In his more recent practice, figurative elements increasingly merge with his characteristic abstract visual language, creating a compelling dialogue between reality and emotion. His works have been presented in galleries and curated exhibitions throughout Germany and internationally.
